Veli Monoprep was one of the first aircraft that was built specifically for private pilots.
In the factory of W.L. Veli, an industrialist who had previously specialised in carriages and automobiles were produced in the years 1927 to 1929 some 350 Monopreps.The high-wing aircraft had a fuselage frame made of wood, which, like the wings was covered with canvas.
